Under the Sea Soiree Fundraiser: Celebrate Biodiversity with the Whitney Lab!

Thank you so much for supporting the Lab at the Under the Sea Soiree! We raised over $16,000 and had $9,000 worth of donated items for the auction. We especially appreciate all of our sponsors who came through to support our community outreach programs post hurricane.

*Sponsorship includes tax deductible donation to the Whitney Laboratory’s programs. Under IRS rules, your payment will be treated as a charitable contribution to the extent it exceeds the value of the benefits we provide to you in return for your contribution. Our best estimate as to the value of the dinner is $30. Thus, to the extent the amount of your gift exceeds $30, it will be treated as a charitable contribution and be deductible subject to normal IRS limitations.
