Event approval is at the discretion of Whitney Laboratory. Rental Rates do not include sales tax, Rates are as of September 2019 and may change without notice. These fees cover the use of lab space and utilities and provide the investigator with normal access to general use equipment. For non-UF investigators, fees do not cover the cost of copying, long distance phone calls and shipping costs, which will be billed separately. Costs of supplies and materials must be met by the investigator, although ordering etc. can be assisted by Whitney staff.

These fees provide the investigator with aquarium space, and cover the cost of collecting local species and maintaining them in captivity. Species requiring special conditions and/or food will be charged on a case-by-case basis.
ALL RENTAL FEES WILL BE DEFERRED FOR INVESTIGATORS RUNNING OVERHEAD ACCRUING RESEARCH GRANTS THROUGH THE WHITNEY LABORATORY
