Please welcome Josue Cardiel to the Whitney Laboratory! Josue joined the Ibarra Castro Lab as a visiting research scholar.
Josue is a marine resource manager, and interested in reproduction in marine fish, as well as embryonic and larval development. Josue has worked in the industrial production of rose snapper and with other species such as white snook and shrimp. He is currently conducting research on the development of the digestive tract, enzymatic activity, and the immune system in red snapper and Atlantic croaker larvae.
In his free time, Josue likes running, fishing, playing soccer, and spending time with his family.
