Please welcome Emma Navarro to the Whitney Laboratory. Emma is a Research Technician in the Loesgen and Strother Labs.
Emma graduated summa cum laude with her BSc in Biochemistry from the University of Florida. Her undergraduate research was focused on developing organometallic precursors for extreme ultraviolet lithography with applications in the semiconductor industry. Her current project will focus on the identification of microbial metabolites with activity in zebrafish and mammalian cells.
In her free time, Emma enjoys reading, music, traveling, baking, and spending time with her pets.
