Registration and abstract submission are now open for the Sea Turtle Fibropapillomatosis Research Symposium 2021.
Due to ongoing uncertainties surrounding the Covid-19 pandemic, the 2021 meeting will be held virtually on October 14 and 15, 2021. To register for the meeting or submit an abstract please see the links below.
Fibropapillomatosis (FP) disease continues to be reported in sea turtle populations at numerous locations around the globe, including sites where it was never previously recorded. Given the global impact of this disease on sea turtles, and recent research activity and advances within the field, it is timely to host a dedicated FP research symposium. The symposium’s overarching aim is to bring together FP-focused researchers and conservationists from diverse localities to discuss emerging trends, latest research findings and future advances required to assist with our understanding and mitigation of the worst effects of FP on sea turtles.
You are invited to submit abstracts for oral presentations on research related to any aspect of sea turtle fibropapillomatosis disease.
International attendance is highly encouraged, and, where applicable, presentation times will account for time zone of participants (as practicable as possible).
We are looking forward to your participation.
