The Whitney Laboratory for Marine Bioscience
At the University of Florida 2024 Superior Accomplishment Awards on April 10th, 20 staff and faculty members from across the University of Florida were recognized including Whitney Laboratory Sea Turtle Hospital Manager Devon Ramia.
Devon was recognized in the inaugural year of the “Sustained Excellence” category, exemplifying her “above and beyond the call of duty" for over three years. Devon was honored earlier in the year as a division-level winner, which put her in the running for this University wide competition.
Hosted by UFHR Vice President Melissa Curry and Assistant Vice President of Human Resources Bob Parks, Ph.D., the 2024 Superior Accomplishment Awards recognized faculty and staff who have contributed outstanding and meritorious service, efficiency and/or economy, or to the quality of life for students and employees.
