Matanzas Biodiversity Journey

Take an Interactive Journey through the Matanzas River with Tanzi the Turtle!

Tanzi the Turtle is ready to explore the Matanzas River and learn all about biodiversity - and she needs your help! Help her navigate tides, find food, discover other animals living in the estuary, and learn about oysters and the process of photosynthesis.

This program is designed for children in grades 4-6, but children and adults of all ages can enjoy it too!

K-12 STEM Program Support

We are deeply appreciative of continued philanthropic support as donations are critical to continue K-12 education and discovery. Without this support, the K-12 STEM Program at the Whitney Laboratory would not be able to serve over 4,500 students annually. In 2019, 32% of students served through our K-12 Education Programs were from Title 1 Schools that have high percentages of underprivileged students.

To make a gift to support the Whitney Laboratory K-12 Program, please contact Jessica Long at 904-201-8401 or give through the link below.
