Please welcome Johanna Bodenburg to the Whitney Laboratory! Johanna joined the Loesgen Lab as a student intern, investigating fungal natural products for the next six months.
With the focus on organic chemistry in her bachelor’s degree at IMC Krems University of Applied Sciences, Austria, she is excited to deep dive into the study of Corollospora maritima, aiming to gain a deeper understanding of microbiology, pharmacology, and structure elucidation.
In her free time, Johanna enjoys spending time outdoors, hiking and exploring. She also loves watching mystery series and playing card games with friends.
