Whitney’s own Dr. James C. Liao selected as one of the 100 extraordinary biologists by the Company of Biologists for their centennial anniversary.
Dr. Liao was selected for his contributions to Journal of Experimental Biology’s (JEB) Special Issue: Integrating Biomechanics, Energetics and Ecology in Locomotion, along with the 15 research articles published in the journal, his contributions as a reviewer, the 2024 Ig Nobel Winner in Physics, and as a speaker in JEB’s 2024 Journal Meeting: Integrating Biomechanics, Energetics and Ecology in Locomotion.
