Day at the Whitney Lab
Program Information
Students rotate through docent-guided, hands-on stations designed to encourage discovery, questioning, and observation. Students will conduct an experiment, observe microscopic organisms, and use critical thinking skills to compare and contrast a collection of marine invertebrates.
Curriculum may supplement Florida State Sunshine Standards.
Grades | 4-6 |
Dates | Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, September through May (2 or 2.5 hour program) |
Class Requirements | One class per scheduled date, 10-30 students |
Cost | $9 per student (public, non profit status), otherwise $15 per student. |

If you are a homeschool co-op or organized group that meets the above requirements, please fill out the Day at Whitney Lab request form. If you are an individual at home learner, please check back for 2024/2025 school year program dates.
