Please welcome Kalie Januszkiewicz to Whitney Laboratory!
Over the next year, Kalie will be working as a research technician in the Seaver Lab investigating how the putative stem cell cluster in Capitella teleta responds after amputation.
Kalie earned her bachelor’s degree in Microbiology and Cell Science from the University of Florida. She was previously a research technician studying the coral microbial ecology of stony coral tissue loss disease and the coral microbial response to hypoxia in situ. Outside of the lab, she enjoys SCUBA diving, reading, and catching up with friends over a chai latte or ice cream.
