Registration is now open for the 2018 summer camps at Whitney Laboratory. The camps offered this year are the Marine Biology Summer Camp and Sea Turtle Summer Camp.

The Marine Biology Summer Camp is designed for students entering the fifth, sixth and seventh grades in fall 2018. Students spend the week exploring the biological diversity of the Matanzas River Basin. This camp is offered June 4-7 from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The cost is $375 and includes a lab tour, instruction, presentations, field and lab activities, kayak trip, daily snack and Whitney Lab t-shirt.
The Sea Turtle Summer Camp is designed for students entering the fourth grade in fall 2018 and offers students the opportunity to spend the week learning about sea turtles and conservation. The camp is offered June 11-14, June 18-21 and June 25-28 Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. The cost is $275 and includes a Sea Turtle Hospital tour, instruction, presentations, field and lab activities, daily snack, Whitney Lab Sea Turtle Hospital t-shirt and reusable water bottle.
