The Whitney Laboratory for Marine Bioscience
Please welcome Cassidy Manzonelli to Whitney Laboratory! She recently joined Dr. Christine Schnitzler's lab as a lab technician. Cassidy received her B.A. in biology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, with minors in marine science and studio arts. Her previous research includes field work on board the SSV Robert C. Seamans studying the Island Mass Effect in the south Pacific, genetic testing of shrimp to determine the rate of mislabeling, and separate research on the olfactory system as well as magnetic fields research both involving loggerhead sea turtles. In her free time she enjoys scuba diving and sailing, or just being out in nature.
