Please welcome Clark Morgan to Whitney Laboratory! He recently joined Dr. James Liao's lab as a research technician and will be leading the red drum acoustic telemetry project, which will focus on investigating migration and habitat utilization patterns of adult red drum in St. Augustine waters.

Born and raised in Florida, Clark grew up on and under the water following his fascinations. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Florida State University and then his Master of Science degree in Biology from the University of North Florida. The majority of his previous research experience was focused on elasmobranch ecology (sharks, skates, and rays), but he is broadly interested in how animals interact with their environments and with other animals, including resource use and trophic relationships. He hopes to expand into new research areas such as fish physiology and biomechanics. In his spare time, Clark enjoys underwater photography, fishing, and exploring.
