Congratulations to all of the 2016 Research Experience for Undergraduate (REU) symposium poster presenters. The two winners, Claire Schmidt of the Osborne Lab, and Hannah Palmatary of the Liao Lab, will be attending a fully paid trip to The Society for Integrative and Comparative Biology Annual Meeting in January 2017 in New Orleans. They will present their research at the meeting. Congratulations, Claire and Hannah!
Whitney Laboratory’s REU program is funded by the National Science Foundation. It is a 10-week summer program, established in 1987, that provides undergraduate students with an inspiring and motivating experience that explores the career of scientific research. Students select and carry out a research project in an area of interest with a Whitney Laboratory faculty member and experience hands-on research in laboratory and field settings.
