Dr. Todd Osborne, Associate Professor of Biogeochemistry at Whitney Laboratory, talks about the Brevard Zoo's Restore Our Shores Residential Clam Restoration Project and the Whitney Laboratory's involvement in this video.
The Residential Clam Restoration project is using "super clams" to help restore filter-feeding clam populations throughout the Indian River Lagoon. The clam restoration sites have been laid out both by the Brevard Zoo, University of Florida Whitney Laboratory and collaborators.
