Emily Gordon Named to Board of Trustees

We are pleased to announce that Emily Gordon has been named to Whitney Laboratory’s Board of Trustees. Emily brings an abundance of professional and scientific experience as well as a passion for community service to the Board of Trustees.

Emily is a Florida Gator. She earned bachelor’s degrees in both nursing and zoology from the University of Florida.

She has wide research, laboratory and field experience, including as an environmental scientist of the St. Johns River Water Management District with BCI Engineers, lab technician in the University of Florida Genetics Department and Department of Biology, forest ranger for Goethe State Forest, and research assistant for the Florida Department of Environmental Protection – Wetland Department. She has also authored numerous scientific publications.

Most recently, Emily works in accounts payable at Gordon Dental Associates. She is also a board member of the All American Air Charitable Foundation, volunteer at R.B. Hunt Elementary School and active sustainer of the Junior League of St. Augustine.
