The Whitney Laboratory for Marine Bioscience
Please welcome Catalina (Cat) Williams to Whitney Laboratory! She recently joined the Ibarra-Castro and Osborne Labs as an aquaculture technician.
Cat graduated from SCAD and where she earned her BFA. Life brought her to St. Augustine around 1998 where she was able to accomplish one of her dreams: to live surrounded by the ocean. She has had a variety of jobs and interests including becoming an EMT/ FF, an Ocean Guard, surfing teacher, Spanish teacher, painter, business owner, and entrepreneur. Her love for the ocean started as a kid and she says her dream of studying marine science is finally coming true now that she joined the Whitney Laboratory assisting Dr. Todd Osborne and Dr. Leonardo Ibarra-Castro.
