Jessica Long Receives Outstanding Leadership Award at 25th Annual UF Cares Infectious Disease and HIV Conference

Congratulations to Whitney Laboratory Senior Director of Advancement Jessica Long for receiving the 2021 Outstanding Leadership Award in recognition of her years of dedication, leadership, and outstanding performance at the UF Center for HIV/AIDS Research Education and Service (UF CARES).

Jessica served as the Executive Director of UF CARES which provides healthcare, pediatric and adult clinical research trials, and mental health/support services in four counties. She was with UF CARES 10 years.   

She accepted this award at the College of Medicine Jacksonville 25th Annual Infectious Diseases and HIV Conference of Northeat Florida on September 17. For their 25th anniversary they looked back at their remarkable progress made through scientific discovery, innovation, determination, commitment, compassion, and community activism.
