Alexandra Hernandez Awarded National Science Foundation’s Graduate Research Fellowship

Congratulations to Alexandra Hernandez, graduate student of the Ryan Lab at Whitney Lab, for receiving the National Science Foundation’s Graduate Research Fellowship! More than 12,000 applications were received for the national program.

According to the National Science Foundation’s press release about the fellowship, the program recruits high-potential, early-career scientists and engineers and supports their graduate research training in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) fields.
