The Whitney Laboratory for Marine Bioscience
Please welcome Sean Goggin to Whitney Laboratory! He recently joined Dr. Todd Osborne's lab as a Laboratory Technician.
Sean was raised in Clarksville, Tennessee where he first fell in love with the outdoors and the environment around him. Following this passion, he earned his B.S. in Environmental Science from Emory University in 2020. During his time there he worked for the organic farm and was a teacher's assistant for courses from field botany to environmental science. Sean joined the Osborne lab recently as a lab technician and hopes to gain more experience in the practice of studying the environment from the field to the lab and everywhere in between.
Sean's interests include diving, surfing, communication of science, environmental connections, psychology, and trying to identify every plant he comes across (not that he is always successful in this endeavor).
