Please welcome Kendall Breland back to Whitney Laboratory! She joins Dr. Todd Osborne's lab for another summer internship.

Kendall is a senior at UF majoring in Soil and Water Science with a minor in Environmental Science. In her free time she enjoys reading, doing arts and crafts, or hanging out with her leopard geckos. She is an animal lover at heart, but is passionate about soil science and excited to continue her education in soil science. During this summer internship she is going to be working on two projects and will also be helping in the Osborne lab. The first project is on heavy metals and their correlation with fibropapillomatosis in green sea turtles. The second project is titled "Physiological Attributes of Freshwater Bivalves as a Tool for Bioremediation in Florida's Freshwater Systems."
