The Whitney Laboratory for Marine Bioscience
Registration is now open for the 2020 Whitney Laboratory Marine Biology and Sea Turtle Summer Camps.
The Marine Biology Summer Camp is designed for students entering into the 5th, 6th, & 7th grades in fall 2020 and offers students the opportunity to spend the week exploring the biological diversity of the Matanzas River Basin! The camp is offered June 1-4 Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The cost is $375 and includes lab tour, instruction, presentations, field & lab activities, kayak trip, daily snack, and a Whitney Lab T-shirt.
The Sea Turtle Summer Camp is designed for students entering into 4th or 5th grade fall 2020 and offers students the opportunity to spend the week learning about sea turtles and conservation. The camp is offered June 8-11 and June 15-18 Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. The cost is $275 and includes a Sea Turtle Hospital tour, instruction, presentations, field & lab activities, daily snack, a Whitney Lab Sea Turtle Hospital T-shirt & reusable water bottle.
