The Whitney Laboratory for Marine Bioscience
Please welcome Amanda Yeo to Whitney Laboratory! She recently joined Dr. Christine Schnitzler's lab as a Post Bac Researcher.
Amanda was born and raised in northern Virginia. She recently graduated from William & Mary with a degree in biology and a minor in marine science. During her time as an undergrad, she spent four years researching larval plasticity and larval cloning in several asteroid species. She’s conducted research in Maine, Washington, and as far away as Australia. Amanda is thrilled to be joining the Schnitzler Lab for a year-long post-bac position. Outside of research, she enjoys hiking, reading, and struggling to master embroidery.
