Please welcome Andrew Cross to Whitney Laboratory! Andrew joins the administration team as a research administrator, filling the vital role of assisting our PIs in submitting their grants.
Andrew joined UF in 2022 in the Office of Research Sponsored Programs. During that time, Andrew submitted over 1,000 proposals for the University and processed hundreds of incoming award documents on submissions. Andrew has a B.S. in Healthcare Administration and Management and an MBA in Healthcare Management. Andrew has worked in healthcare for 12 years as a pharmacy technician working in various retail, home delivery IV care and hospital inpatient pharmacies, last working for UF Health Shands as a sterile compounding technician.
Andrew’s free time is spent with his family and their two dogs, traveling and visiting new towns and states, working in the yard and garden and finding new places to dine when traveling.
