The Whitney Laboratory for Marine Bioscience
Please welcome Jocelyn Klucar, Research Administrator II to the Whitney Laboratory! Jocelyn will be helping our faculty with a portfolio of grants, post awards and submissions in concert with Jesse Grosso our current Research Administrator II.
Jocelyn Klucar recently moved to St. Augustine from Baltimore, Maryland with her husband Jim and son Trey. She graduated from the University of Baltimore with a BS degree in Business Administration. She received her Master Certificate in Government Contracting from The George Washington University, School of Business.
Jocelyn has been a research administrator for over 29 years. She has worked for several institutions of higher education to support faculty in their research. She started her career at John Hopkins University where she work in both pre-award and post-award offices. She most recently worked at University of Maryland School of Medicine as the Director of Research Administration for the Department of Surgery.
In her free time Jocelyn loves the beach, fishing, crafting and taking care of her two Labradors, Tanner and Tia, and three cats, Teddy, Henry and Squirt.
