Whitney Lab Attends 2017 Southeast Regional Society for Developmental Biology Meeting

Whitney Lab participated in the Southeast Regional Society for Developmental Biology Meeting held May 18-20, 2017, at Kennesaw State College in Georgia. The society encompasses seven states in the Southeastern United States.
Miguel Salinas Saavedra, graduate student in the Martindale Lab, and Danielle deJong, postdoc in the Seaver Lab, are pictured here at the meeting explaining their current research to other society members during the poster session. Danielle won first prize in the postdoc poster session for her contribution, “Investigating the cellular origins of posterior regeneration in the annelid Capitella teleta.” Congratulations, Danielle!
