Whitney Laboratory joined other organizations and partners in the Capitol Rotunda in Tallahassee for Florida Oceans Day on March 22, 2023.
Florida Oceans Day is Florida Ocean Alliance’s annual conference of members, friends, officials and legislators who share common interests in Florida’s marine and coastal resources and their critical role in sustaining a healthy blue economy in the state. This year’s focus was on Coastal Resilience: A Key to Florida’s Blue Economy and Future.
Florida Oceans Day was hosted by Florida Institute of Oceanography, Mote Marine Laboratory & Aquarium and Florida Ocean Alliance.
