Whitney Research Village Designated a Certified Florida Green Home from the Florida Green Building Council

The Whitney Research Village was recently designated a Certified Florida Green Home from the Florida Green Building Coalition. The Research Village has achieved the requirements in energy efficiency, resource conservation, health and durability.

This is UF's first FGBC certification and demonstrates a commitment to addressing the unique environmental and climactic characteristics specific to Florida.
