The Whitney Laboratory for Marine Bioscience
Thank you to everyone who joined us for the Whitney Research Village Ribbon Cutting - Grand Opening on Dec. 8, 2018. This project of six sustainably built cottages supported by the Florida Legislature, private donors and the University of Florida expands our campus by 24 beds. The housing will be for visiting scientists, as a landing spot for graduate students until long term situated, and will allow us to bring more course offerings and advanced training retreats to our campus. Our first demo solar cottage will be live later in the winter.
