Brent Foster Joins the Martindale Lab

Please welcome Brent Foster to Whitney Laboratory! He recently joined Dr. Mark Martindale's lab as a lab technician. Brent received his B.S. in neuroscience from Brigham Young University (BYU) with minors in linguistics and creative writing. He grew up in northwest Pennsylvania and helped raise sheep on the family farm. After his freshman year at BYU, Brent deferred his undergraduate education for two years to live in Brazil. To date, Brent’s research experience has consisted of cognitive neuroscience methods in human populations. Brent hopes to apply to graduate school at UF and study the evolutionary development of centralized nervous systems.
