Congratulations to Dr. Annika Jagels, postdoctoral research associate in the Loesgen Lab, for receiving a prestigious postdoctoral fellowship from the German Research Foundation (DFG). The Walter Benjamin Stipend will fund her for up to 2 years of research focusing on fungal natural products, especially gene activation techniques to find new compounds and drug discovery.
